graduates from high school this year, and I have been a lucky, lucky mother. It's funny, I never beat that child, but he will tell you he is terrified of me, even though he is 6' tall and 200 lbs. it's all about attitude!

Re: my son...
Sun, March 27, 2005 - 8:55 PMyou go girl!
I've never spanked my child other than one swat he got as a youngster, and boy, that was all it takes. Raising my voice a bit is enough to send him off and I too am pretty lucky. He's going to be 7 this year, stands 4'2" and is about 58lbs. or so. I tower over him by a mere 11".........hehe, I've got a pretty good grip on how he ticks already, for those days like you have, when he towers over me but still is as lovey dovey to me as ever because I'm a pretty cool, level headed, straight up mom....no fuss, no muss, just rules to abide by for myself and the household too and no lies. He trusts me, and I love him so very much.........hmm, feeling sappy and loving my boy today so very much! -
